I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (membership #19822).
I have worked with adults and youth from a wide range of backgrounds addressing a variety of life concerns.
My work with individuals is based on the humanistic, client centred model, while also drawing from other evidence-based and insight oriented modalities (as listed above). My approach is collaborative, adapting to each individual's unique situation and objectives. I ascribe to the Rogerian philosophy that the client is the expert of their own life.
In our work together, I strive to see your concerns in context, without judging or pathologizing. The talk therapy process, one person listening, understanding, empathizing and reflecting on another's experience, allows new perspectives and ways of being to emerge. Through our work, meaningful change begins with forming a safe, trusting relationship where we can discuss life’s challenges.
