Welcome
A quote from Fred Rogers, "The World According to Mister Rogers: Important Things to Remember"
"There is no normal life that is free of pain.
It’s the very wrestling with our problems that can be the impetus for our growth."

Life can throw challenges our way that feel overwhelming and unmanageable. Coming to a realization that we could use help and seeking a therapist are big steps. The therapeutic relationship offers a unique space to look at and discuss deeply personal things in a safe, non-judgmental environment. I encourage anyone seeking therapy to search for a therapist that they feel comfortable with. I believe it is my job to foster trust and safety so that we can work through difficult feelings.
From my perspective there is no definitive ranking of problems. What may seem like a small problem to one may leave another feeling stuck and unable to move forward. I view each client’s issues as equally important and see it as my job to walk alongside you through difficult terrain.
I believe that people, like all living things, are inherently driven to thrive and grow. When given the right conditions, we are capable of making meaningful changes and achieving our fullest potential.
I use an eclectic, integrative approach, adapted to the specific wants and needs of each individual. My work draws from a handful of different theoretical orientations, and is implemented in a mutually agreed-upon, collaborative process with each client. I have worked in numerous roles in the mental health field, providing support to individuals faced with a wide range of challenges. If you do decide to reach out to me, I look forward to meeting you and having the opportunity to work together.
